A full renovation of five bathrooms in a private residence in Antigua — designed to balance tropical resilience with quiet, considered luxury. The brief required materials that could withstand a humid Caribbean climate while still feeling refined, personal and far removed from the expected tropical aesthetic.

The concept centres on limewash-effect finishes, microcement vanities in soft beige and grey tones, and curved minimalist showers that replace traditional enclosures with seamless rounded walls. Existing floor tiles were preserved to minimise waste and maintain continuity with the property's original character.

Live-edge wood shelving introduces organic warmth and texture throughout, grounding the spaces in their natural surroundings without resorting to cliché. Natural light and cross-ventilation are built into every detail — spaces designed to feel serene, functional and enduring in equal measure.
