This Gidea Park bathroom was designed to feel characterful and considered, drawing on traditional details without becoming dated.

The scheme centres around rich emerald ceramic wall tiles, balanced with classic white tiles and aged brass fittings. The darker shower enclosure adds definition, while the lighter surfaces keep the room feeling open and connected to the natural light.

A freestanding bath beneath the window becomes the focal point of the room, with the surrounding materials chosen to emphasise its shape and position.

Traditional fittings and carefully chosen details give the room a more personal quality. A piece of vintage artwork beside the pedestal basin introduces an unexpected layer, helping the bathroom feel connected to the wider home rather than designed as a purely functional space.

The result is a bathroom that combines traditional references with contemporary practicality, using colour, material and individual pieces to create a room with its own character.​
