A bathroom currently in design development for a private residence at Hyde Park Gardens — one of London's most elegant addresses. The brief called for a space with genuine character and a sense of history, moving away from the expected neutral palette towards something richer and more personal.

The design is built around a palette of deep glazed vertical tile in warm tobacco tones, aged brass throughout, dark walnut joinery and a classic chequerboard marble floor. A framed botanical print and wall-mounted brass light introduce warmth and a quietly collected feeling — details that make the space feel inhabited rather than simply designed.

Every element was chosen for its patina and tactility — materials that will deepen and improve with age rather than date. The result is a bathroom that feels both timeless and distinctly considered.
